On Line Teaching Revolution Are we ready for it?

Shifting to an Online education was a buzzword few years back. There were discussions that the offline mode of teaching will give away to an online mode. Before it could happen, Covid19 hit the world and students all around the globe were forced to study online for which neither the education sector nor the parents or the students were prepared. India is no exception to this. With 22 official languages, shifting to an online system, which required devices, internet, software for providing education to all enrolled and aspiring students was an uphill task. This study is focused on the issues faced by students as well as teachers in pursuing and delivering online education. The study is focused on the students and teachers from the schools as well as of from the colleges offering professional courses like BBA/BCA and Management (MBA). Structured interview/questionnaire method was used for the purpose of study. Few of the suggestion which emerged out are detailed in the finding section.
