Phase Rotation and ASK Combination for SD-SM-MIMO

In multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, space division multiplexing and spatial modulation (SD-SM) transmissions have been proposed. And then, in the SD-SM-MIMO, the bit error rate (BER) performance is improved by using the channel ranking QR decomposition with M-algorithm maximum likelihood detection (CR-QRM-MLD) in spite of the small number of searches. Moreover, the non-null and null modulation are utilized for the SM transmissions independently. However, these combinations are not evaluated such as the amplitude shift keying (ASK). Also, phase rotation (PR) which is the effective in the MLD is not also evaluated. In this paper, we propose the PR and ASK combination for the SD-SM-MIMO.
