Research on design method of gradient porous support based on triply periodic minimal surfaces

A design method of gradient porous support was proposed for the four common types (P/D/G/I-WP) of triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS). First, the relationship between the porosity and the threshold C was obtained by constructing four types of TPMS units. Then, the inlet porosity Pin and outlet porosity P

of the carrier plate were selected to obtain the gradient adjustment function. The gradient adjustment function was used to modify the traditional TPMS mathematical model to obtain the gradient porous support mathematical model based on TPMS. Finally, the carrier model was obtained by digital modeling and surface closure. Observe by selecting a list of models in the carrier, the experimental results show that the gradient porous support has a good transition effect on the changing surface of porosity.
