Tailoring optical properties of “origami” graphene-covered photonic gratings

Due to the negative coefficient of thermal expansion of graphene, temperature changes of graphene-coated photonic surfaces could induce changes in diffractive optical absorption and emission. The modification of optical properties of “origami” folding of graphene covering a plasmonic metal channel grating tailor cavity resonance emission.
