Electric Wheelchair Sensing and Control Algorithms for Users with Neurological Disorders

This work presents algorithms for sensing and controlling an electric wheelchair. The goal is to conform a set of tools to provide a person with motor disabilities and neurological disorders a safe way to operate an electric wheelchair without the attendance of another person. This proposal is a contribution to solve the problem of mobility. Specific signal processing algorithms are designed and implemented, conforming a complete control system that originates the movement of an electric wheelchair.
