The Impact of Information Literacy on Prophetic Communication Behavior through Using Information on Electronic Media

This research investigated the effect of information literacy on the prophetic communication through information use behavior on electronic media at Islamic university. 101 library and information science students were surveyed using a questioner based on a random sampling methodology. Humanization, liberation, and transcendence communication on electronic media were found to be significant links between information literacy, information use behavior, and prophetic communication behavior. Simultaneously, through information use behavior, information literacy influences humanization-prophetic communication. The importance of this study is that students must improve their information literacy skills to enhance their prophetic communication behavior when utilizing electronic media.
