Point Cloud Surface Reconstruction using Sparse Ellipsoid Radial Basis Function Neural Network

In this paper, we propose a method of reconstructing surface from point cloud using sparse ellipsoid radial basis functions(RBFs). The experimental results illustrate that our method can represent the topological structure of the surface from point cloud effectively with a small number of ellipsoid RBFs while ensuring the accuracy between the reconstructed surface and the point cloud.
