Study of Loss and Temperature Considering Different Shielding Structure in Power Transformer

This paper investigates and optimizes the magnetic shunts design to reduce the generated stray losses and temperature in power transformers. First, establish a 2D model, compare and analyze the magnetic leakage distribution of shielding with different structures, and further A 3D FEM model is established based on the OSFPSZ-200kV A/230kV power transformer, considering the influence of magnetic flux leakage distribution with different shielding structure. Calculation stray loss and temperature of power transformer with field-circuit coupling method to obtain the optimal shield structure, which are required for safe operation. Finally, the simulation results of the stray loss and temperature of the three-phase power transformer verified by the experimental results under the different shielding structure.
