Improvement of the Mathematical Model of Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Processes of Power Transformer using MATLAB/Simulink

The mathematical model of analysis of low-frequency electromagnetic transient in three-phase two-winding transformers in the MATLAB/Simulink modeling environment has been improved. The model adequately takes into account the electromagnetic connections between the windings and the magnetic circuit of the transformer, their electromagnetic parameters, the nonlinearity of the Weber-ampere characteristics of the magnetic circuit elements and power loss from hysteresis and eddy currents.
