Research and Application of OPC Technology in Power Monitoring System

Automation technology has been widely applied in the electric power system in our country, at the same time, it also brought each subsystem communication standards incompatibility. OPC is based on OLE/COM mechanism as the application of communication standards, It well implements an open system interoperability. This paper describes the integration of OPC technology solutions in power monitoring system, and study the implementation and application of OPC data access.
