Finite State Model Predictive Speed Control for PMSM drive system with Periodic variable load

In order to drive a rotary compressor, it is necessary to control the rotation speed of the motor, however the conventional PI controller causes large vibrations. In this paper, the application of model predictive control to the speed control of a PMSM is considered for a rotary compressor.
