CreditBC: Incorporating Blockchain to Credit Management for Cross-domain Service

Cross-domain service, which integrates the services from various types of businesses in multiple administrative domains, has been proposed and instantiated along with the development of modern service industry. By converging the various services from different administrative domains, the efficiency and quality of services are promoted. As the important element of services, the user’s credit information is vital to evaluate the user’s credibility in the fields of e-commerce, financial services, etc. However, due to the heterogeneity and complexity of the cross-domain service, the issue of credit management is more complicated compared with the traditional service. This paper firstly explores the definition and representative features of credit management in the cross-domain service. Furthermore, we propose a blockchain-based credit management model with a hierarchical management committee structure, and the complete workflow including credit collection, credit sharing and credit convergence will also be presented. Finally, future challenges in credit management of the cross-domain service are illustrated and discussed.
