Outphasing Modulator for Secure Communicationin 0.1THz Band

The terahertz(THz) communication system has been widely researched in recent years. However, due to the severe path loss, this kind of system is difficult to achieve long-distance communication. In this paper, we propose a communication system in the 0.1 THz bands based on the outphasing modulator by combining two 16PSK signals into one 16QAM signal to increase the output power. By further analyzing the outphasing technique, we propose a method to take full advantage of stochastic properties of the channel to achieve the Physical Layer Security(PLS) communication, verified by MATLAB simulation.
