Pure Magnetic Dipole Radiation per Exact Maxwell Solution using Spherical Azimuthal Electric Current Shell

A recent investigation [1] has developed an exact analytic solution of the Maxwell equations for an antenna which is characterized by an electric current which flows azimuthally on an infinitely thin spherical shell with a density that scales with the angle of spherical elevation. The resulting form of the electro-magnetic (EM) fields can be expressed as a simple product of a small number of elemental functions, including spherical Bessel functions and standard harmonic functions, without the need for any infinite series in the final expressions. These EM fields are truly exact for all space, both interior and exterior to the spherical electric current shell, since no approximations are invoked involving the relative spatial scales of the sphere diameter, the EM wavelength, or the distance to an observation point.
