Research on Exploration on Curriculum Reform of Western Music History Based on WeChat Platform

With the rapid development of Internet information technology and the increasing popularity of handheld intelligent communication devices, WeChat, as a way of instant communication, has gradually become an important means of communication in college students’ study and life with its advantages of convenience and cross-platform. At the same time, WeChat platform also brings a new opportunity to the reform and development of the traditional teaching model in universities. This paper analyzed the common problems in the teaching of History of Western Music. With the increasing popularity of WeChat, this paper put forward the application of WeChat platform into the teaching practice of Western Music History course. This paper studied the educational reform of Western Music History course, analyzing the advantages of WeChat platform, and providing conditions for the further promotion and application ofWeChat platform teaching methods.
