Application of Virtual Simulation Experiments for Undergraduate Networking Teaching

With the rapid development of visualization technology and computer science, virtual simulation technology has been widely used, introducing new forms of undergraduate education. The purpose of this paper is to explore the specific application of virtual simulation technology in networking design and application. Virtual platform-based experimental training teaching can supplement the current network courses, simulate the latest versions of equipment and cutting-edge network protocols not available in recent laboratory. It also provides online teaching not limited by time and space. Experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of our virtual networking experiment platform on increasing teaching quality.
