A Zigzag Maneuver Target Tracking Algorithm with Colored Glint Measurement Noise

In this paper, a tracking algorithm is proposed for zigzag maneuver target with non-Gaussian colored glint measurement noise. By Utilizing the measurement differencing approach and the state augmentation method, the above problem is transformed into the estimating problem for a non-linear system with white heavy-tailed measurement noise. And the augmentation state vector together with the intermediate variables are simultaneously inferred by introducing variational Bayesian (VB) approach. Simulation experiment indicates that the proposed algorithm in this paper has superior accuracy than current algorithms to process non-Gaussian colored glint measurement noise for the problem of zigzag maneuver target tracking.
