Study of a Quadrature VCO with Mutual Synchronization

The paper contains short review of a study quadrature VCO with mutual synchronization. The diagram scheme of such oscillator is presented. Shorted symbolic equations are obtained, the stationary mode of the oscillator is analyzed, fluctuation equations and equations for the spectral power density of phase and amplitude noises are presented. Based on the results of the study of quadrature VCO with a mutual synchronization, we calculated and investigated in the ADS software environment, voltage-controlled quadrature oscillators (VCO QC). The dependences of modulation characteristics of the oscillation of the frequency control voltage amplitude, and spectral power densities of their FM and AM noise are obtained.
