Stability Analysis of Distribution System Based on the Energy Routers

The energy router is considered as the core equipment of the energy internet. When it is applied to manage the distribution grid, it will bring some dynamic stability problems. This paper establishes the main distribution gird and the user subgrids model of the distribution system managed by energy routers and verifies their correctness through frequency sweep. For scenarios of the subgrids expansion and the operation mode switching of subgrids managed by energy routers, the influence of the subgrids on the stability of the regional distribution system are analyzed based on the Generalized Nyquist criterion. Finally, a control method based on the virtual impedance which can improve the system stability is proposed.
