Experimental Study of the Influence of Ambient Temperature on the Transmission of the Analyzed Signal Through an Optical Fiber

In this paper, to solve the problem of automatic control of physical and physicochemical processes occurring in extreme conditions (high temperature and humidity, aggressive chemical environment, etc.), it is proposed to apply the methods of remote optical spectroscopy. In this case, the measuring device is a spectrometer, and an optical fiber is used as a transmission line for the analyzed signal. The results of the study of the influence of the ambient temperature on the transmission of the analyzed signal through the optical fiber are presented; taking into account and correcting this influence will significantly reduce the errors of spectral measurements and increase the reliability of control.
