Performance Analysis of a 3kWp Grid Connected PV System in The University of Pathumthani Province

This paper proposed design and installation of a 3 kWp grid connected PV (photovoltaic) system. In this system to be simulated with some parameters, they mainly consist of PV panel size, power rated of a single phase grid tie inverter and loss parameters, such as loss of cable, wiring loss. The objective is to simulate and analyze performance of produced energy from the 3 kWp PV grid connected system. This PV system including kilowatts hour meter and other facilities has been installed on the roof of the 9

floor, top of building, within the University. This paper shows the produced energy in each month from the main results for simulation with PVsyst7 software. The main results show energy in each month of the year, energy losses such as PV array losses and wiring losses are also addressed.
