Set-Point Tracking of Quanser AERO using SMC in the presence of Uncertainties

Control of Quanser AERO system is highly challenging being a non-linear, cross-coupled, multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system. In this paper, an exponential reaching law-based Sliding Mode Controller is designed for the set-point tracking of Quanser AERO. It is robust in the presence of matched uncertainty and disturbances. To choose the proper switching function chattering analysis is performed with different switching functions.
