Study on Modeling Methods for Magnetic Field Intensity of Submarine Cables Based on WCA-SVM

With the popularization of submarine cables, the important role of submarine cables in the field of power transmission in China is becoming more and more prominent. In practical engineering, it is necessary to detect important indexes including the magnetic field and etc. during the monitoring of submarine cable state, but traditional modeling methods are complicated, with low precision and insufficient reliability. To solve this problem, a modeling method based on the measured data of submarine cable magnetic field intensity is proposed in this paper. In this method, the measured data of submarine cable magnetic field intensity are used as training samples, and the support vector machine (SVM) is used to train them and obtain the magnetic field intensity model. In order to improve the fitting accuracy of the model, the water circulation algorithm (WCA) is used to optimize the important parameters of SVM. The experimental results show that this method has the characteristics of high precision, strong reliability and simple modeling in fitting submarine cable magnetic field strength model.
