A New Digital Landscape and Politicians’ Public Performance Evaluation

The article under consideration aims at analysing the impact of a digital landscape on the activity of state and regional government leaders. The intertwining of offline and online uninhibited information flows, social networks, open data and other digital landscape elements have changed the social credibility online portrait of statesmen. Employing content and metadata analysis as research tools, the author focuses attention on the changes within political and state people’s social credibility online portraits and evaluates the effectiveness of their public presentations.
