Studies on fault influence of Yindong HVDC transmission system in Shandong Power Grid Based on PSCAD

According to the actual parameters, the PSCAD simulation model of Yindong HVDC transmission system is established. This paper uses appropriate electromagnetic transient simulation method to establish the inverter side AC equivalent (Shandong power grid) model, establishes different types of faults in Shandong power grid, including unbalanced fault (grounding fault) and symmetrical fault (three-phase short circuit fault). The influence of Shandong power AC system fault on Yindong HVDC transmission system is studied and analyzed, so as to improve the stable operation of Yindong HVDC transmission system For some guidance.
