B-rep based automatic incremental blend suppression for meshing

The feature suppression from B-rep models is significant for saving finite element (FE) mesh generation time and improving mesh quality. This paper presented a B-rep based automatic incremental blend suppression algorithm, which is the pre-processing for efficient and qualified mesh generation. By using the Face-Edge (F-E) graph, a four-step incremental suppression procedure was carried out to suppress the blend features arising in diversity structures. Examples are given to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the proposed method.
