Developing Software and Hardware for Automation of Ground Urban Transport Traffic Management

The article deals with the development of algorithms and software for an intelligent control system for urban land transport. The analysis of the software and hardware complex of the control system, including monitoring tools, automated data processing and decision-making systems, and traffic flow management tools, is carried out. A software product has been developed for forming a set of characteristics of the traffic flow based on data from the city's video surveillance system. Algorithms for managing urban ground transport flows are considered. The problem of choosing hardware for monitoring and software development, taking into account the requirements of practical application, is considered. Recommendations for designing automated traffic control systems for ground urban transport are developed.
