A Simple Run-time Parser Generator

This paper introduces a parser generator that can, at program run-time, accept the definition of a grammar and configure a parser that is usable immediately, without additional compilation steps. The working principle and the design philosophy behind the parser generator are discussed. The parser generator and the generated parser are applicable to all the common tasks of code and structured text parsing. This paper argues that the proposed parser generator reduces the programmer's effort and the level of expertise required to perform common tasks, such the input and parsing of structured text, and syntax analysis of program code.
