Analysis of Depression for Aging People in China

Depression among aging people has been an increasingly common trend in many countries. Aging people who suffer from depression would feel emotional pain and a decrease in quality of life. Since it is harder to cure depression among aging people than teenagers, the research in exploring this field has meaningful value. This article focuses on several causes of depressions among aging people, gives a sufficient overview of its current situations in both treatment and challenges by analyzing the existing research, and provides predictions of the future conditions. In addition, this paper discusses several advanced new technologies in treating depression among aging people. In conclusion, the results show that although the current development of medicine and technologies have effective and specific functions, the current situation of treatment and diagnosis still have a large space to make progress.
