Research on the Development and Current Status of DC Power Distribution

This paper describes the research background of DC power distribution technology in combination with the development history of HVDC transmission technology. And it lists the main technical advantages of DC power distribution applications and their development inevitability. Furthermore, the key technologies such as voltage level, topology, key equipment, control protection, modeling and simulation are analyzed in the current DC power distribution research. Then, the research status and key directions of DC power distribution technology and the typical application cases existing in China are introduced.
