PI and Fuzzy Logic Control of Single Phase Grid Connected Inverter Serving Two PV Panels

In this paper, two serially connected solar photovoltaic panels operating under different irradiance and temperature levels are tied to the grid with a one phase transformerless inverter. The proposed method has been simulated in MATLAB with Proportional Integral Control and Fuzzy Logic Control scheme. Results of the two controllers has been compared with parameters such as PV voltage, PV current and PV power. The THD% for the grid current has also been compared for the two control schemes.
