On the performance of Alamouti-coded Cooperative MB-OFDM scheme for Wireless Body Networks

Ultrawideband communications adapt quite well with body communications because of their low power levels and co-existence with other ambient communication systems. In this context, we propose in this work a new scheme, which_combines the viable features of cooperative diversity and Alamouti coding, in offering an additional immunization against wireless body ultrawideband channel errors. The bit error rate (BER) performance of the resulting scheme is investigated with different modulation orders and numbers of relays.
