Progress Review of General Holographic Millimeter Wave Imaging System Based on Linear Frequency Modulation for Safe Personnel Screening

Millimeter wave imaging (MMWI) has proven itself an irresistible revolutionary technology for safe personnel screening. The progress of in-house research on general holographic MMWI based on linear frequency modulation (LFM) is summarized in this paper. Major innovations including distinctive system framework, staggered transceiver antenna array (STAA), inventive calibration, and novel imaging algorithm are highlighted. Prototype evaluation has also been presented.
