The Study of the Degree of Spatial Synchronization in EEG Activity in the Perception of Visual Stimuli

In this paper we present the results of the study of the development of various synchronous regimes in the spatial EEG activity of the brain for the subjects during prolonged monotonous load. During this experiment, the subjects briefly observed visual stimuli that they recognized by pressing the remote buttons. Further we evaluated the test subject's response to stimuli and at the same time a mathematical analysis of EEG brain activity. To assess the degree of synchronization between EEG channels, we modified the technique based on wavelet bicoherence math method. The paper establishes the features of the occurrence of synchronization in different frequency ranges between EEG channels, depending on the nature of the presented stimulus and the reaction time of the subject to the stimulus. Statistical estimates of the mathematical analysis of experimental studies for patients of various genders are presented.
