Look-Up Table Method of PD Location for UHV Reactor by HF Current Detection

Partial discharge will cause insulation aging and damage of electrical equipment, so it has very important significance for the detection and location of partial discharge of electrical equipment. In order to locate the PD source in equipment within the windings, the propagation of PD current pulse in the winding and the response of PD current pulse at the external measuring terminal are studied. Based on the lumped parameter model of the winding disc unit, the propagation model of PD pulse signal in the reactor winding is established, and the electrical location method of PD in the winding is studied. The polarity and amplitude ratio K of the current at the end and the head of the reactor winding are obtained by injecting pulse signal to simulate the partial discharge in the simulation, which is used as the characteristic quantity to establish the transmission library of HF current pulse. Then through simulation results and computer interpolation, the anti-interference and internal PD location in the winding type equipment can be made.
