Prospects for the Use of Hybrid Wind-Solar Installations

This article discusses the problem of power supply to autonomous consumers using the example of objects in the oil and gas sector and agriculture. The authors consider the prospect of solving this problem using combined power supply systems based on renewable energy sources. A classification is presented that covers three groups of these installations: autonomous wind-solar power plants, installations for backup power supply, network wind-solar power plants. The results of the work showed that the use of combined units at the facilities of the oil and gas sector is possible for auxiliary equipment, and at agricultural facilities the use of these units is a promising idea.
