Self-driving Reconfiguration of Data Center Networks by Deep Reinforcement Learning and Silicon Photonic Flex-LION Switches

This paper studies the use of deep reinforcement learning to reconfigure the inter-rack connectivity in HPC datacenters by silicon photonic FLEX-LION switches. Network simulation results show that the proposed approach can match the interconnection with time-varying traffic to minimize the average end-to-end latency.
