Development of Mathematical Model of Joint Work of Heat Pump and Cogeneration Power Plant

Heat pumps should be used for efficiently heating or cooling buildings. There are three main ways to use this technology: heat extraction from ambient air, soil and groundwater. The effectiveness of these methods on the greater territory of Russia is being questioned. To solve the problem, it is necessary to use the waste heat of industrial facilities, such as cogeneration power plants. This article presents the mathematical model simulating the cogeneration plant with heat pumps using low-potential heat. Described theoretical evaluation of the efficiency of the built model of the heat pumps based power plant on the base of public information about the resources in Chelyabinsk region.
