Cytotoxicity of γ-Aluminum-silica-single-wall Carbon Nanotubes Carriers on Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Endothelial Cell Line EA.hy 926

In this study, γ-aluminum-silica-single-wall carbon nanotubes carriers were synthesized and confirmed by scanning electron microscope, emission spectrometry, spectrophotometry. In the in vitro assays, the cytotoxicity on human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, and endothelial cell line EA.hy 926 were investigated by MTT assay, Griess reagent, and mixture of benzidine and hydrogen peroxide. The results of the proliferation, nitric oxide production and intracellular myeloperoxidase activity showed that the γ-aluminum-silica-single-wall carbon nanotubes carriers did not have a pronounced toxic effect on human cells. In conclusion, our results confirm that composition of γ-aluminum-silica-single-wall carbon nanotubes may be used as carriers.
