SiSbDp - The Technique to Identify Forgery in Legal Handwritten Documents

Forgery is a fraudulent act if not detected it leads to serious repercussions. Documents that can be the object of forgery include contracts, bank cheques, identification cards, legal certificates, insurance claims, bills, wills, etc. Alterations in such documents by either addition of words or modification of the existing words can change its judicial value. Such alteration is made with the intention of gaining profit or incurring wrongful loss upon others. Analysis of ink represents an important area in forensic science to identify possible falsification and changes in documents.
