Reachable Set Estimation and Synthesis for Switched Systems with Event-triggered Control

This paper focuses on the problem of reachable set estimation and synthesis for discrete-time switched systems with unknown disturbance via the event-triggered control scheme. For the reachable set estimation issue, a criterion is developed in terms of multiple Lyapunov function strategy combined with the mode-dependent average dwell-time. Two mode-dependent event-triggered conditions are proposed to manipulate the reachable set of the closed-loop system to lie within a given ellipsoid. The first one uses the relationship between the error and the current state, which is a standard form in this field. Based on it, the second event-triggered condition involving the performance of the system is suggested, which makes full use of the system information to reduce communication transmission. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by a numerical example.
