Phase Compensation Algorithm of W-band Antenna Array Based on Fractional Delay FIR Filter

Recently, steering the delays of signals from each antenna is gradually employed to compensate phase differences of antenna array, especially those in W-band. A common problem in design methods for delay modulation is either low delay accuracy or poor computation efficiency. In this paper, an algorithm employing fast FIR algorithm (FF A) is proposed to design the parallel Farrow structure of fractional delay FIR filter using. It can reduce 43.75% multiplier resources compared to traditional parallel structure and the delay accuracy can reach 0.01ns. Both simulation results in MATLAB and experimental results based on FPGA validate the algorithm.
