Pseudo 3-D ISAR Imaging by Barker’s Phase Code Modulated Waveforms

A three-dimensional geometrical model of inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR), and a model of Barker's phase code modulation (BPCM) signal are suggested. A spatial correlation with a known reference function is applied to extract a target's pseudo-3-D image from 2-D ISAR data. To prove the correctness of the geometry, signal model, and imaging algorithm a numerical experiment is carried out.
