A Hybrid Genetic Algorithm for Patient Online Assignment Problem in Cloud Hospital

As a new Internet integrated medical system, cloud hospital has gained an increasing concern from the community of healthcare management in very recent years. In this paper, a patient online assignment problem in the cloud hospital will be investigated due to its important to the operation efficiency of system, and modeled as a special stochastic flexible scheduling variant according to the uncertain characters of cloud medical service. A hybrid genetic algorithm that is combined and embedded with a new simulation approach to cope with those stochastic factors is proposed for solving the investigated problem. Numerical experiments are carried out to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
