Finite Element Methodologies Application in EV’s Charging Infrastructure Planning

In this paper, we proposed a new method to project the number of electrical vehicles' charging infrastructures in the future based on FEM (Finite Element Method) in each state of USA. Although, FEM is a mathematical tool for solving physical problems, but the behavior of different parameters in the current work are modeled as physical objects. Since, we are not looking into this problem in a localized view point. The parameters in this paper are modeled according to the heat equation. Using the relation between temperature and energy based on some proposed formulas will be resulted in the total number of charging infrastructures needed in each state in the future based on three main assumptions.
