A Study of Multi-station Relay Measurement and Control Method on State Assessment

The flying altitude of stratospheric airship is between 20km and 22km above sea level. It has a long time in flight, a slow flight speed, a low altitude and no fixed flight path. In the stratospheric airship test and control task, the number of alternate switching between multiple ground stations is large, and the randomness of switching is large. The shooting range measurement and control equipment and the ship-borne transponder are developed asynchronously. The ground equipment is versatile, but the boat-borne transponder has a single function and does not have multi-ground station access capability. In order to solve the problem of multi-station relay measurement and control in the airship test mission, this paper proposes a multi-station relay measurement and control method for stratospheric airship based on state assessment. The method evaluates the status of each wireless link by extracting relevant information in the telemetry data packet and the angle measurement data packet sent by the measurement and control stations to the center. When the link status of the primary station deteriorates, the method can be manually or automatically switched to the best alternate site. The simulation results show that the state evaluation method proposed in this paper can effectively reflect the link state. The evaluation link can ensure the effective operation of the measurement and control system in the airship test mission.
