Threat Modeling Framework For Security Of Unified Storages In Private Data Centers

A datacenter is a multi-layered and centralized information technology services provisioning facility housing large number of complex servers, storage and network devices. Unified Storages has achieved broad acceptance in the market. Entirely new dimensions of security vulnerabilities, threats and attacks have been witnessed with adoption of centralized storages. Clients may resultantly suffer through unbearable loss if undue importance is rendered towards the security and privacy issues in storages systems. The research paper evaluates unified storages architecture followed by identification of threats to storage. Framework will be proposed to cater for vulnerabilities and threats along with mitigations.
