Study on Load Forecasting Method Compatible with Demand-side Resources

Under the trend of the new round reform of electric power system, in order to gain advantages in the market competition, it is very important for power enterprises to reduce the cost of users and improve the power supply reliability by forecasting the power grid load. Based on this, this paper proposes a new load forecasting method compatible with demand-side resources. By classifying users and defining the demand-side resources of each user, this method establishes a mathematical model to quantitatively analyze the effect of multiple demand-side resources on load during the forecasting period, and finally calculates the maximum load of demand-side resources in the forecasting area through multi-level superposition. The study and analysis of the example shows that the new load forecasting method compatible with demand-side resources can significantly reduce the maximum load of power users, thus achieving the purpose of reducing the cost of users and improving system power supply reliability.
