Equalizing Opportunities of First Year Students of Engineering Faculties by Improving Their Knowledge in Mathematics

In the paper we a study of three approaches to improving mathematical knowledge of first year students of engineering faculties implemented at Cracow University of Technology: inclusion of necessary topics in the course of higher mathematics, self-learning -with the help of elearningplatform, and a complementary course.
