Simplified Electrical Circuit of Inductive Coupled Power Transfer System Based on the Reflected Input Impedance

This paper has been focused in analyzing the influence of the resonance frequency to the performance of wireless power transfer (WPT) system applied to electrical vehicle, special the output power of the system. In addition, a novel procedure to evaluate the input impedance of inductive coupled power transfer circuit is presented in this work. The input impedance of inductive coupled power transfer (ICPT) circuit, their phases and the power factor of WPT system are calculated and plotted by using Matlab scripts programming for different air gap between the transmitter coil and receiver coil. Finally, a novel block of the WPT system is developed in Matlab/Simulink and the obtained results are presented and discussed.
